In December, 2018, the Pacific Heights, Surrey, BC neighbourhood of 117 residents launched their neighbourhood website (PHOG.ca) and Facebook page. This six street neighbourhood is still under construction which brings its own unique issues and considerations. Security is the prime motivator to implement a neighbourhood security plan and to help with this NODE58 and its affiliate Compatriot Neighbourhoods has organized a Block Watch (with the RCMP) and helped assign Block Captains and participants. Other tools used to help collaborate and communicate are the use of a Facebook Group page (private), and a confidential spreadsheet of emergency contacts of all residents.
