Disaster Planning
The dependency of business processes upon the continuous
availability of the technology infrastructure that supports them has
never been as critical and far-reaching as it is today. Interrupt
the IT infrastructure - especially normal access to data - and you
effectively interrupt the business.
There are 2 major considerations that Corporations need to plan for
:
Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
The following steps will be
executed :
- Vulnerability Assessment
- Requirements and Business
Impact Analysis
- Detailed Requirements
Specifications
- Costs and Procurement
Estimates
- Staged Implementation Plan
- Testing Program
- Maintenance Program
- Support and Upgrades Program
