Rob Chernenko has been retained by Teck
Resources Ltd, Canada's largest mining company, as a
Project Manager to coordinate the Head Office move into
the new Bentall 5 building in downtown Vancouver. This
project entails moving their main Data Centre and
Servers to a new Calgary Data Centre to serve the global
enterprise. Teck-Cominco will be installing a new VOIP
(Voice Over Internet Protocol) Phone System, all new
Printers, and state-of-the-art High-Def Video
Conferencing equipment, of which Rob will coordinate the
acquisition and instalment of all equipment. This
project was completed in September, 2008.
Rob continues on at Teck managing many infrastructure
projects.
